  • Key Process – “The MDG Way”
    • We designed an internal processes we call “The MDG Way”, which encompasses how we go about placing professionals and how we identify and develop professionals. We feel this is key to our success.
    • Under The MDG Way, all the ways we place professionals we feel are different from our competitors, but there is one approach we’ve specifically designed to achieve our goals, and this is the MDG Placement Model. This was specifically designed to achieve our goal of finding, helping, and developing finance professionals that need it.
  • Who We Serve:
    • Though we’re based out of Michigan, we will serve any client or professional anywhere looking to either fill a finance/accounting role or be placed into a finance/accounting role. What’s critical for us is that you believe in our process – both the client and professional. We believe in our process and know it’ll work, but we know for it to be successful the client and professional need to believe in it as well.

History

MDG was established with the “Seed Idea” of finding and helping as many finance professionals with their development as possible. This came from years of seeing employees in the finance and accounting community underdeveloped, underappreciated, and frustrated, and seeing what these professionals COULD DO if they were SERVED correctly. The original idea was to develop a Mentorship, Development, and Growth program that would be implemented through Contract and Contract-To-Hire roles.

Quickly following its inception, MDG moved to offer Traditional Placement Services. This came from the realization there was an opportunity to offer a Superior Service and knowing the MDG Model was not a fit for everyone.

Today, MDG’s focus is on Traditional Placement Services and MDG Placement Services and offers Direct Consulting as well. The goal is to offer these while doing so with a Superior Level of Service that is sure to give Clients and Professionals the Support they need, and move MDG towards achieving its Vision and Mission.

Our process has been designed to find our Clients Candidates that are much more closely aligned with their needs from the start. This ensures stronger candidates presented to our clients and few candidates for them to review.

How QUICKLY we find Candidates:

We understand the environment in which Finance Professionals are typically looking for Candidates and know getting someone on board as fast as possible is imperative. Our approach addresses this a few different ways ensuring we can deliver as quickly as possible.

Our SUPERIOR LEVEL OF SERVICE:

We’ve developed our process to ensure we deliver on this. We know what the right level of customer service is in this situation is critical, and we’re determined to deliver that.

Our Focus on Candidates:

Though we’re working to fill a role for our Client, our Candidates will NEVER come second. It’s imperative for numerous reasons, we know those reasons and will never waver from this commitment.

Our Services:

We not only offer Traditional Placement services, but we also offer Direct Consulting services, and we have even developed a CUSTOM MDG Placement service called our MDG Placement Model. This MDG Model was developed to Mentor, Develop, and Grow Finance Professionals, while at the same time delivering a superior service to our Client.  It’s the idea our company was founded on, and the best illustration of our commitment to not only our Clients but our Candidates too.

MDG Placement Model:

  • We identify and bring on board only professionals we’re confident in placing with our clients. And yes, our bar is high -so no, not everyone will be selected for this.
  • Once a professional is on board with us, we immediately start Mentoring, Developing and Growing them as much as we can.
  • The MOST unique part – we don’t leave you once you’re placed. We will look to work with you as a “shadow manager” while you’re in your role.  With that, you’ll get regular 1 on 1’s, the ability to run ideas/thoughts by us, and even run your work by us to get our input.
  • We’ll stay with you as long as we feel it’s needed, and more importantly, as long as YOU feel it’s needed.
